Hemlock Camp

We call it... “Camping”. It’s this new thing - where you leave the machinations of the urban world behind and retreat to the calming surrounds of nature. (To some extent. But you still get to sleep in a comfy bed.) 1/4 mile trek. A footbridge over a winding stream, a fire-pit, a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a quiet world beneath the hemlocks will be your immediate surroundings. No electricity. No running water. You are alone - surrounded by hundreds of acres of private, wild forest.

Get away from it all when you sit by the fire under the stars and watch fireflies light up the farm fields. Our site is nestled in the foothills of Buck Mountain with sunrise to sunset vistas of the Adirondacks and Snake Mountain. Sleep under the big oaks, with sounds of crickets, and a babbling brook nearby. We chose this site to be a place of rest, rejuvenation, and for those seeking to enjoy a rustic and authentic feeling of rural farm life in Vermont. Located 5 minutes from Vergennes.

Beautifully furnished glamping tent offers two queen beds, screened porch and rear deck. Personal kitchenette in the Lodge and lovely Bath House nearby. Join us for wood-fired pizza, walk through a beautiful wildflower meadow to the cedar hot tub, take in the stars by the nightly bonfires. Come and Enjoy our 300 acre Christmas tree farm! Located at the top of our property overlooking the tree fields and woods and pond below.Enjoy Hiking, Boating and Fishing right on the property. All very Private!! Not far from town , brewery, wineries, Waterfalls and other wonderful places to enjoy. Enjoy viewing the Stars at night and sitting by a campfire and the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place.(An All Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive Vehicle is recommended)

Riverside screen house

Screenhouse on the side of the West Canada Creek. Please note this is a 1000 foot walk from your vehicle unless you have a 4wd or all wheel drive vehicle. Site includes a 10 ft by 10 ft screenhouse, picnic table, and outhouse, fire pit, 2 chairs, but no bed. Have 115 acres of farm to explore along the creek, swim in the creek, bring your kayak, tube down the river, or fish for trout in the creek. Please note the river can get busy in the summer on weekends with tubers.

Peace Camp Outpost #1 offers comfort, peace, and beauty in a truly natural setting. This framed canvas tent sits high and dry on a screened wooden platform with a framed door. You’ll find a full bed with room to add cots for up to two children. The tent is located a short walk from Harmony House and the Cantina, where you’ll find the shared bathroom and kitchen. This cabin sits on our 100 acre farm that hosts multiple cabin and tent retreats.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. We offer 8 beautiful tent sites all with fire pits and enough firewood for first. Ight. More wood available at 5 dollars per rack space. Sites are all in close proximity to a rustic toilet with a household toilet. No need to “rough it” too much!!! All 8 sites sit in a wooded area next to a very serene stream where you can can just sit and relax. Enjoy!!
