Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Year round hot tub!

This home backs up to Doughton Recreation area with endless hiking and camping access. Downtown Sparta offers dining, shopping, and entertainment, and is a short 7 mile drive. The New River is available with ample put ins for kayaks, or take a short 40 minute drive over to West Jefferson. Both beds are queens and new queen sleeper sofa in living room

The list of activities are endless including sitting on the deck or by the fire pit watching the view go by. That view has been said to be The best view in the Blue Ridge. This spacious 2400 sq ft home is yours while you play in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

Hand-built 24 × 24 ft treehouse studio crafted from on-site pine and reclaimed barnwood. Two queen beds, a vintage claw-foot tub beside a picture window, and a full wall of glass that frames the forest and nightly Blue Ridge sunsets. Cozy wood stove, reliable Wi-Fi, and a tidy kitchenette with fridge, electric cooktop, and microwave. Hotel-grade linens, plush towels, and thoughtful art details create a dreamy, off-grid-feel retreat for up to four guests. Dogs welcome.

River Front retreat

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath post & beam style cabin. It sits on 4 acres with mountain access/views, and river views with easy access. We are directly on the New River with 330 feet of river frontage at the end of a private road with plenty of distance to the closest neighbor. The living room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace with a pullout couch and 2 sets of French Doors opening onto the front porch and the spacious side covered porch.
