In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. Captains Quarter's is located in a unique fishing village with the Big Traverse River on one side and Lake Superior on the other. Inside the home large windows provide views of both the lake and the river. Your private beach on Lake Superior is 110 steps away from the back door. The sunrises along with views of the Huron Mountains, sandstone cliffs of Louis Point are a site to see, from the comforts of the home. Snowmobile trail is very close just 9/10's of a mile away.

Beautifully appointed cabin has every amenity of home. Massive stone fireplace greets guests after a day on the snowmobile trail or making turns on the ski slopes. Fully equipped kitchen means you don't have to eat out. Dedicated laundry space. Large master bedroom with master bath and a large walk in shower. Second bedroom and separate bathroom. Large open great room. Relax by the fire and watch the snow fall. There is parking available for snowmobile trailers.

We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
