There is so much to love about this charming little house! It was built in 1905 and has many original features such as 11ft ceilings, hardwood floors and multiple built in fireplaces. Yet it also has a few modern day updates such as the fully stocked, island kitchen; the best of both worlds! You can enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and grill dinner under the string lights on the back deck where we have a cute, fenced in back yard! Just make yourself at home!

2 blocks from the water and everything that makes down town Darien so special, Skipper’s waterfront seafood dining, Waterfront wine and Gormet, The Shanty for breakfast and coffee, Skippers Fish camp for waterfront dining. Take a boat tour with Georgia Tidewater Outfitters. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Bring your boat, the DARIEN BOAT RAMP IS 3 blocks away. Sapelo island is a 30 minute boat ride away. I/95 is less than 2 miles away for a quick overnight stay!

Waterfront Home on Deep Water - Beautiful views!

Located on Wilmington Island - 15 minutes from historic downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Island beach - but not sure why you would ever want to leave our beautiful view of Half Moon River, Wilmington Island Sound, the barrier islands and the ocean beyond! We rent the bottom floor of our vacation home - it has its own separate entrances. 900 foot dock to walk to the river to fish, look for porpoises or go crabbing. Watch the herons and egrets in the marsh at low tide.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The perfect location 10 minutes from downtown Savannah, & 10 minutes from Tybee Island. It is walking/bicycling distance from Downtown, Fort King George, Historic square, Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge (Great for wildlife photography) Parks and Waterfront also Restaurants and Shops. You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer. Perfect cottage for you and a companion.
