Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Peaceable Kingdom Bed & Breakfast Farm, Cabin

We are a working farm with horses, donkeys, llamas, goats, sheep, peacocks, chickens, ducks, honey bees, cats and dogs. We have trailer parking. Nature trail through our woods with a stream. Tour farm to meet the farm animals, tour the innkeeper's art on the property. Walk through our woods along our stream. Nearby Knoebel's Amusement Park, AOActivities Area, Bloomsburg Fairgrounds and Bloomsburg University, Weiser State Forest nearby and reservoir for kayaking. There is a 2 night minimum stay.

Our small family farm is conveniently located 10 minutes from Interstates 81/64 and historic Lexington, Virginia. The Tipi has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the wonders our little farm and community has to offers. We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Welcome to “Horsefeathers” a tiny home on an historic property where you will be immersed in a farm experience! Although tiny, this house is equipped with all top of the line luxuries to include a personal hot tub, an automatic cappuccino maker, a king nectar mattress-just to name a few. Only minutes to Winchester the location is convenient to restaurants and shopping yet you’ll feel like you have been transported back in time to a working homestead where you can interact with all the animals.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone.
