Located on Chequemegon Bay, less than 10 min from Ashland, built in the 50's, our family of 6 spent 33 summers in this 600 sq ft cabin. Two twin beds in the br and a queen sized murphy bed pulls down in the living area. Recently remodeled, completely updated, conveniently located to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands.

This off grid, cozy 14' trailer is situated on a two acre lot with two other rentals and my full time residence on the edge of the Ottawa National Forest. A short walk to Black River Harbor, the North Country Trail & Lake Superior, this is a perfect getaway for those seeking a rustic yet comfortable stay with a campy feel.

Modern comfort meets rustic charm at Bolo’s Landing on Muskie Lake. With direct trail access, a private pier, kayaks, and stunning lake views, it's your perfect Northwoods getaway year-round. We have room for your trailer and are just off of Iron County Trail 8 and 8a. Enjoy the almost 100-acre PRIVATE lake with included kayaks and rowboat (with life jackets). Cooking your thing? Just bring your food we have the rest. If not, there are 7 restaurants (bar scene to gourmet) within 13 miles.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Lily Pad on Muskie Lake

The Lily Pad on Muskie Lake in Springstead is in the heart of the Northwoods. Come relax, slow down, and recharge. Muskie Lake is a private lake that is almost 100 acres. In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

Attention! G maps suggested route is incorrect. From Hwy 2 - left on 36th, right on Lake Park Rd. Private beach with spectacular views. Kayaks available for a paddle out in the bay or enjoy a sunset from the deck. Also deck heaters and gas grills and a fire pit w/wood. Or Curl up with a good book in front of the indoor fireplace. TV and Wifi too, and a complimentary bottle of wine. A great retreat for 2 couples or a small group of friends. Only 8 minutes from downtown Ashland.

Wildlife Cabin in Mercer

Built in 2022/2023 this cabin is located right on the Manitowish River with 750ft of frontage right off Highway 51 about 3 miles south of Mercer and 7 miles north of Manitowish Waters. The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. All season property in wooded setting. Ski-in/ski-out access to Whitecap Mountain, snowmobile trails and ice fishing. Cottage is nestled on the hills of whitecap Mountain overlooking Weber Lake where you can kayak, swim or fish. Winter access requires 4 wheel drive. Public use of the indoor pool for a nominal daily fee in the Whitecap hotel is available nearby.
