South Forest The cottage’s altitude is 340m.

Our cottage is located on a hillside on the Southern tip of the Izu peninsula. It is surrounded by lush forests, mountains and our fruit and vegetable gardens, with a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean. The cottage is suitable for long term stays. This tranquil space would be a lovely retreat for people interested in the country lifestyle, or those who are looking for a secluded setting to work, focus on creative activities or enjoy a quiet holiday without disturbance.

We built this building as Annex of Yasuragiso(Traditional Japanese inn),thinking "We want you to thoroughly enjoy Mt.Fuji" and "We want you to spend a relaxing and private time". Next door is an old shrine and nature, which is very quiet. The lake can also be reached on foot. There are also several restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It's very convenient for sightseeing in Fuji Five Lakes. We have a free parking & Rental bicycles .

There used to be more than 140 guest houses for Mt.Fuji climber along the ancient road which has gentle curve create nice atomosphere. We started guest house because we wanted to protect original scenery of Japan, we want all guest to feel and experience " CLASSIC JAPAN LIVING". That is why we renovate old Japanese houses, and try to revive post town which this area used be 865 years ago.
