There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Popsal cottage is a charming stone built two bedroom home, exuding charcter and warmth. Cottage on the Scottish coast with stunning views

A detached cottage 50 metres from the shore of Luce Bay near Port William village. From the spacious conservatory, guests can relax, take in the stunning views towards the Isle of Man, look out for the family of otters who live by the sea, experience spectacular sunsets and star gaze. For the more adventurous there are lovely walks, cycling tracks, water sports, horse riding centres and top notch golf courses in the area. You’ll need a car to explore but there are local taxis for pub visits!

Cosy Galloway cottage - sleeps 5; beaches & walks

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

Escape to simple luxe; a unique vintage haven

The romance, splendour and variety of landscapes to be found in Galloway lies at the door of The Old Servants’ Hall. For couples or individual explorers (and dog), this beautifully restored, cosy apartment is an ideal retreat for escaping the rat race. A restful and luxurious base from which to reach the coast, rolling hills, forest and mountains. You may be tempted to stay indoors, curl up in front of the wood burning stove, and explore the well stocked bookshelves. Servants not included.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Luxurious cabin surrounded by nature, at the foot of Cairnsmore of Fleet, 200m from Kirroughtree 7 Stanes, Scotland's premier mountain bike trail, in the middle of Dark Sky Park within the Galloway Forest Park & the UNESCO GSA Biosphere. We've got secret wild swimming spots, stargazing, & wildlife in abundance, lovely walks on Cairnsmore or just relax, unwind and reconnect with family & friends. Our jewel of a cabin harks back to simpler days surrounded by beauty. Enjoy!

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.

A unique and stylish cottage, Maughold is literally 'off the beaten track'. At the end of that track you will find a fully modernised cottage with elevated, private garden views of the Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and the charming fishing village of Port William. Its location is perfectly positioned for easy access to all sporting and leisure activities or enjoy a relaxing break away, doing as little or as much as you want.
