From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from the Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. Ideal for 2 adults, but If it's 4 it can seem rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV, WIFI all add to a warm comfortable stay.
