Secluded and accessed by private road, which is a well maintained road through a rain forest mountain, but it is a road through a rain forest mountain, so we require a 4WD vehicle. The 4WD is not necessary to navigate the road, but it preserves our gravel surface and is a more comfortable ride for you.

A beachfront house for 4 people, LA BARCAROLA is set in beautiful Ballena Marine Park. The ideal place to enjoy Nature at its fullest: surrounded by huge trees, visited daily by monkeys and toucans. Whales and dolphins will show off right in front certain months of the year. IMPORTANT: please consider the driving time from San José: 4 hours. For their safety, we ask our guests to arrive before sundown. the roads are in good state, but not well illuminated.
