The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

This old renovated farmhouse provides comfortable accommodation for anyone wishing to explore the area with its many historical sites and attractions for those who love the great outdoors. Just 2km from Mitchelstown cave and 4 km from the Galtee mountains, Alice’s farmhouse is located close to a working dairy farm where cows and hens may pass by.

The apartment has a separate entrance and is fully contained. It has two bedrooms, one with a King Size Bed (sleeps two) the second room has a Triple Bunk and can sleep up to three. Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
