Keweenaw Bay Baraga House

The Baraga House has a view of Keweenaw Bay from the back porch, steps away to Larry's Market grocery from the backyard. Cue Master Bar and Grill and the American Legion Bar & Grill (open to public) are located just steps away also. Very convenient for travelers to the Keweenaw Peninsula, just a block from U.S. Hwy 41. The Ojibwa Casino in Baraga is just minutes away. Please be aware that there is a separate, occupied apartment to the house. Blink door bell cameras are on the front and back.

Rustic Farm House

Secluded small farm house nestled in among maple, apple and pine trees. Lots of parking for trailers and guests. Wood burning Sauna on property. Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. This is a quiet place with whitetail deer being the only thing to come and visit. Occasionally you’ll see bald eagles fly overhead looking for their dinner. Walking trails.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

With plenty of parking, ample outdoor space, and a cozy feel, you'll have all the amenities of home, with all the privacy of the woods. Located just a few minutes from Lake Superior and downtown L'Anse. Great central location between the Keweenaw Peninsula, Marquette, and the Porcupine Mountains. UP Snowmobile trail#14 runs feet from the end of the driveway, combining easy trail access with a secluded tiny home feel.
