The Outhouse - Ground Floor Studio (Entire place)

The 'Outhouse' is a ground floor self contained studio which has been lovingly renovated and opened to our first guests in December 2019. Just a 2-3 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful georgian market town with a fabulous selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants & shops. The studio is divided into a shower room, kitchen with the living area and bedroom in one open plan space. The Outhouse sleeps 2 people in a double bed, with the benefit of air-con during the hot summer months.

The Annexe at Frost Cottage in Ashby de la Zouch

This newly renovated ground floor one bedroom annexe is situated in the heart of the National Forest on Moira Road in Shellbrook, a hamlet within the area of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. With country walks on the doorstep and only a 20-minute walk into the old market town of Ashby, provides an idyllic place for walkers, cyclists, and business travellers. Nearby amenities include Hicks Lodge (National Cycle Centre), Conkers, Ashby Castle, Charnwood Forest Alpacas and Calke Abbey are a few!

The Green Room, whether you are here for pleasure or work, you may come and go at ease with your own private access and outside stairs into your own sunken garden. Our light and airy basement bedroom with kitchenette, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, has a spacious dining space doubling as a tranquil desk and private ensuite bathroom. When the weather is kind enjoy your own sunken garden with outdoor dining space and lighting. Kick back, relax and unwind in this calm, stylish Green space.

Melbourne is a vibrant little town with plenty of history and culture, offering lots to see and do in the area, and in good walking country.

The church has been fully renovated to provide an unique and unforgettable stay for up to 5 people. Fantastic range of restaurants, shops and pubs, all on the door step. Perfectly located to explore some of south Derbyshires most beautiful sights, Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold, Donington Race track are all nearby.

Weaver Cottage is a Grade II listed 2-bed character cottage set within the picturesque village of Darley Abbey. The historic cottage is an ideal base from which to explore Derby, Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park. Located across the River Derwent from The West Mill and River Mill venues, the cottage provides the perfect spot for guests seeking a peaceful night after a day of celebrations. NB: The bridge to the mills is currently closed, so access is via alternative routes.

Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

You are welcome to walk in the surrounding woodlands and fields, which belong to your hosts, the Donington Estate. Located minutes from the historic market town of Melbourne, Derbyshire.
