Our home is a beautiful 17th Century Town House, with a walled garden, in the ancient city of Winchester. Ideally situated for walking throughout the city with its magnificent 900 yr old Cathedral, William the Conqueror's Great Hall, King Arthur's Round table, Winchester College, England's oldest Public school. 1hr by train from London, 1hr from Heathrow, close to the New Forest, the South Downs, the South Coast, Jane Austen's home. Our house is 4 mins walk from the station.

ISLAND HERON is a lovely old farm house which has been modernised inside It is a great place to visit as there is a lot to do Wedding and party venues very near ie wasing park is a 7 mins drive!

Freefolk Home with a view

An airy double room with ensuite shower offering privacy at the front of the house ten minutes walk from the Bombay Sapphire Distillery Experience. There is a local pub, The Watership Down Inn, but please check their web site for opening times, bookings and menus - it is very popular and early booking is recommended. Huge room with balcony, en suite bath/shower room, TV, fridge, kettle and toaster. A DIY breakfast is provided: toast, yoghurt, fruit, etc. The Clarendon Way passes our front door and we are close to Winchester, Salisbury and the New Forest. The River Test flows through the village and there are fabulous walks and bike rides near by. There is a country pub serving food a 5 min walk away. Bicycles can be stored securely in our garage.
