Sleep under the stars (cloud cover providing!) and wake to a chorus of bird song. During the day, you could cycle or birdwatch on the Levels; fish; hit the beach (just 5 miles away); visit Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar Gorge; or outlet shop at Clarke’s Village. Finish the day with a BBQ, or sitting around the fire pit or in the hot tub as the sun goes down.

You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. We have created a self contained one bedroom unit as a luxurious bed and breakfast within our 17 th century farmhouse cottage. It boasts an inglenook fireplace and wood burner with an open plan living and dining area. There is a small kitchenette and a choice of continental breakfast is provided. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ashcott overlooking the Quantock hills with beautiful views and has access to many country walks.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Nut Tree Lodge is perfectly situated within easy reach of Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Weston Super Mare. The apartment is modern, well equipped and comfortable and makes a perfect base for great days out. This lovely 2 bedroom loft apartment also benefits from having its own access, outdoor area and parking. It’s the perfect size for a family of 3 (or 4 with a pull out trundle bed, ideal for kids). The living area comprises an open plan kitchen, breakfast bar and lounge with TV.

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Nestled in a traditional Somerset orchard, our beautiful hand-carved, 'bee-spoke' shepherds hut is a unique back-to nature hideaway. This is the perfect opportunity to get away from it all, go off-grid, unwind and relax in pure linen sheets. Listen to bird song, the buzzing of the bees, watch a passing deer, or just sit by the fire-pit gazing at the stars. Bathroom hut has hot shower & compost loo. This is a beautiful area to explore on the edge of the Somerset Levels.
