The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

Lavender Cottage, Clare

Lavender cottage is small yet perfectly formed and retains many of the original 400 year old features with some modern touches to make your stay a comfortable one. Nestled amongst the ancient buildings of Clare. From your doorstep, there are pubs, independent shops, tea rooms, castle, museum and church. For nature lovers the River Stour Valley is a four minute walk away, with plenty of open countryside to enjoy. Just an 1hr 30 minutes drive from London, on arrival ditch the car and chill out.

A cosy cottage on a small working family farm near the Essex/Suffolk border. Within walking distance of the beautiful village of Castle Hedingham. Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.
