"My Sunshine on the Bay" is a beautifully restored cottage built between 1940 and 1950. The home was well maintained through the years which kept most of its original features intact. It's located in a quiet community on Pierre Part Bay just 2 minutes from Lake Verret. Great area for all water sports and fishing ! There is a boat launch and bait shop steps away,. Relax on the swing by the bay and watch eagles, pelicans and other wildlife feeding nearby or bring your bike and tour the area.

Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
