The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

The area is perfect for country walks and cycling on the Thames Path or within the picturesque Chiltern Valley where you can enjoy its popular pubs and pretty villages. It is an ideal location for exploring the area, business trips or simply relaxing.

The Loft @ Burghfield is a hotel style self-contained one bedroomed annexe with separate entrance, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Located in the heart of the charming village of Burghfield Common it offers excellent links to Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and London as well as offering woodland walks on the doorstep. Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

Bright and airy, the annexe is brilliantly located in the historic part of the village, lovely local pubs and the award winning Norsk cafe are just a short walk away. Just a 10 minute walk from Haddenham mainline train station giving easy access London (40 mins) and Oxford (25 mins). Direct trains to Bicester Village take just 14 minutes.

Ideally located between the historic village of Dorchester-on-Thames, home to the renowned Dorchester Abbey, and the picturesque Clifton Hampden, famously described in Three Men in a Boat as “wonderfully pretty, old-fashioned, peaceful, and dainty with flowers.”

Wedding venues - Barton House, Lains barn and Ardington House are 5 minutes by car. Harwell campus, Milton trading estate, Williams F1 engineering and Didcot Parkway Station ( London 41minutes) are also close by.
