Our Cottage is secluded in the country near a river, with no other houses nearby, just Wildlife and peace and quiet. A Front porch for relaxing and a newer deck on the back for cooking out or watching the wildlife. The inside has just been completely updated, with a few original antique touches. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a half bath, downstairs a master bedroom with bathroom, open concept living room kitchen area. And Main level laundry area. Ready for a long vacation or a quick getaway.

Plover River Pines is our beautiful cabin perfect for guests that want to relax on a peaceful river. Located centrally within 20 miles of 5 towns so you will experience both tranquility and convenience. Kayak, fish, bike, or walk right from the property or hit the nearby ATV/UTV trails. Unwind by the firepit, play bag toss or classic Pac-Man, listen to records, read or stream Netflix by the fireplace. With plenty to do inside and out, it’s a relaxing escape for adventure and downtime alike.

Secluded apartment at Summerwynd farmette

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Sasquatch Shores: Cozy Lakeside Cabin on Star Lake

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Daniel’s Place

Cozy up in this private, one-bedroom, centrally located, upper apartment. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Located on the southeast side of Mayflower Lake, this getaway is 65' from the water with a 23' dock shared with up to one other guest, fire ring, and grill. The cabin, one of two, is a functional, newly remodeled approx 400 sq ft design with your vacation in mind! Swim, kayak, paddle-board (both free to use) & fish! Minutes from other fishing lakes, snow mobile trails, Ice Age Trail, Eau Claire Dells, golf courses, casinos, and Mountain Bay Trail. 30 min from Granite Peak.

The Homestead

Experience a quiet, relaxing stay at in a charming little home! Only 1 mile from downtown Wausau, WI. with easy access to restaurants, local YMCA, coffee shops and more! Renovated 3 bed, 1 bath with A/C and elegant maple hardwood floors. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry area, as well as a pleasant fire pit surrounded by strawberries! Enjoy your vacation in this lovely, open concept cabin tucked away in the northwoods! There is a half mile lane winding through the woods that leads to it. It comfortably sleeps 6 guests in its two bedrooms, and full size mattress in the cozy, low-ceiling loft. This cabin is surrounded by a large yard, with a gazebo and firepit. The gazebo has a grill, with a table and 6 chairs. If you love the quiet woods setting, this will definitely be a favorite!
