A stone's throw from a traditional pub/restaurant and near the market town of Abergavenny, famous for its range of dining experiences. New Inn station is a five minute drive away with trains going directly into Cardiff.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Blaenavon Log Cabin in the town of Big Pit

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

We are in the heart of the Clydach Gorge on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a village pub open 6 days a week offering food Friday’s and Saturday’s. The market towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny are close by. The national cycle network local to us is 46 and are are close to Bike Park Wales, Big Pit Blaenavon, and the Clydach Ironworks.

Although a large 4 bedroom cottage this listing is for a discounted stay as guests can simply book the ground floor. Seconds off the a465 it’s 2 mins from Abergavenny & 10 mins from Crickhowell. Enjoying the views over the sugarloaf or spend the day wandering the canals and local footpaths.

Perfect Dog walking country.

As wildly romantic as it gets! With a wooded backdrop and canal side terrace, this larch-clad cottage is absolute luxury for two - with a sumptuous bed and statement slipper bath. Feel refreshed from the glorious views across the canal towards the mountains, or cosy up in front of the wood burner in the lounge. Unwind with a stroll along the canal towpath or stargaze together in the hot-tub. Pets are welcome, too.
