This classic cottage is in the Golden Circle route, east of Þingvellir lake. The cottage is 28m2, you will have a big terrace where you can relax and cook food on the grill. About 10min walk to Þingvellir lake, where it is allowed to fish. Approx. 35-40min drive to Geysir. The space This is an open space cottage, where the kitchen is well equipped so all you need to bring is your groceries. The bathroom has a shower and a blow dryer. This cottage is suitable for a couple with two 90cmx2m beds.

Sjónarhóll is a holiday home built year 2000 in the Vörðufell area close to Laugarás small village, by the roads of the Golden circle. Beautiful location and scenery to the rivers Hvítá and Laxá. Hekla the volcano can be seen to the east and the glacer Langjökull to the northeast and panorama of other mountains. The cabin offers total privacy, yet it’s only a 5‑minute drive to the town center, swimming pool and grocery store.

The hot tub seen in the picture is not in working order, it is being connected in the fall 2026. It can currently be used with firewood, but you have to bring it yourself (or collect firewood in the forest. There is a saw in the little shack)

The house has a small kitchen, double bed (queen size) and a bathroom with shower. There is a platform in front of the guesthouse with a heater and comfortable chairs . Guests will have access to hot tub and a outdoor barbeque.
