The Haven View Chalet, Crackington Haven, Cornwall

The Chalet is a self-contained wood-built cabin in the grounds of Haven View, perched on the side of the valley and overlooking the dramatic cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven. If you feel like joining in and enjoying the activities, cafes or pub, it's only a 2 minute walk away, or you can sit out on the veranda listening to the sounds of the sea and just watch! Also a great base for some coast path walking, with some challenging but spectacular cliff walks straight from the door.

It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. the location of this place is just perfect for walking and cycling on the moors, visiting areas of historical interest, enjoying local food and ales. It is a great base from which to explore the beautiful swimming holes of Dartmoor and some ancient landscapes. It is set in lovely gardens in a family run caravan park that is very secluded. It has chickens and ducks roaming free and is super quiet (maybe the summer holidays are a bit noisier!).
