The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Gorgeous fully self-contained unit, nestled in a peaceful garden setting with town just a ten minute stroll away. Take in the views from the cosy lounge area. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed with fluffy pillows and doona. Luxury bath towels and toiletries await you in the bathroom and the kitchenette is fitted with a microwave, mini fridge, toaster, and is complemented by a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a covered deck area with seating to enjoy the view of surrounding mountains.

Cycling, Golf and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet are all nearby. With a adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda where you can eat and enjoy the view. Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream

Explore the many walking tracks along the Ovens River, catch a movie at the little cinema just around the corner, or jump on your bike and ride one of the cycling tracks that surround the town. Lupo’s Kiln Cafe is open for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday’s and lunch only on Sunday’s. Open from 11am - 10pm Fri & Sat. 11am - 4pm Sun.

Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
