Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage we have sensitively reimagined & restored, opening it up to take in the ever changing view over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. As featured in Home Beautiful The Lady is a colourful waterside haven inspired by the cosy hotels of the British seaside. Sink into the velvet antique sofa and let the view carry you away. The cedar tub is hot and ready for your arrival, with the Tasman Peninsula in the distance. Once a rustic fishing shack, The Lady has been reborn with comfort and character as the guiding ideals. Pattern and colour have brought her to life and made a once boring white box into an enchanting haven for two.

High Place Cottage

High Place Cottage is a well maintained cosy, 2 storey stone and timber cottage with 2 double bedrooms plus a 3rd room of 2 single beds set on 55 acres of eucalyptus forest with commanding views to Maria Island. An adult retreat in peace and serenity with a warm & cosy ambience located in Orford, the Gateway to the East Coast with plenty of cafes and beach side facilities. Triabunna is a short drive to its arts, culture, shops, cafes, famous fish & chip van, local pub and Maria Island ferry.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.
