Tigh Na Mara is Gaelic for House by the Sea. This is an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. The train station is 10 mins walk away and it's just 37mins to Edinburgh St Andrews can also be reached by train/bus connection. Shops, cafes etc are just 150m away. Bus stops for local conections, Edinburgh and St Andrews are just 50m away. The Beacon Leisure Centre with swimming pool, suna and gym is 5mins away at the beach. Burntisland Golf Course, the 10th oldest in the world, is open to visitors.

Built in 1891 and decorated in vintage maximalist style it is a real treat in the heart of Burntisland, right next to the lovely high street, just two minutes walk from the station, and just four minutes walk from the gorgeous beach! Burntisland is also just 35 minutes on the train to Edinburgh so ideal for those who want a quieter stay yet still want to visit the capital.

Just 3 minutes walk from the train station and 35 minutes by train from Edinburgh, this is a delightful, relaxing retreat with access to the city still on hand.
