The Bothy is an authentic, traditional Highland dwelling, carefully restored to preserve its original features and character while providing essential facilities, warmth and comfort. A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Rustic cabin nestled in the beauty of the glen. The Wee Red Roost is on our working farm in the heart of Glenlivet Estate, Scottish Highlands. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, we are located at the foot of the Cromdale hills. There is an array of things to do; hill walking, biking, fishing (salmon, sea/trout (May-Sept)), wildlife, coastal visits, whisky tasting, gin & whisky distilleries, star gazing, water sports, skiing, or just good old fashioned, simple peace & quiet :)

Snowgate Cabin Glenmore

The closest house to the Cairngorm's. Based in the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park Snow Gate Cabin is the last dwelling sitting right at the foot of the Cairngorms themselves. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.

Couthie Cooshed in the Cairngorms

Lovely holiday cottage in the Cairngorms for two with open plan kitchen living area, cosy sleeping gallery, contemporary shower room and private patio. The Couthie Cooshed is cosy well appointed and is set in a private garden on the edge of fields. This barn is a wonderful place to relax and unwind in the country surrounded by fields and wildlife. A bespoke cabin standing on the banks of the river Garry sleeps upto 4. Relax in our wood fired whisky barrel hot tub. A wood burning stove keeps things cosy on chilly nights & a well equipped kitchenette with 2 ring stove. Private wc.

Situated high above the banks of Loch Park, Dufftown, with views of the Cairngorms to the south-west and Drummuir Castle to the East. It's entirely off-grid allowing you to relax and unwind in a quiet and secluded location. The cabin sleeps two, with a cosy bed in the mezzanine, a shower room, open plan sitting and kitchenette and balcony with spectacular views over the loch below. Dufftown is 3.5 miles , Keith is 7 miles and the village of Drummuir 1.5 miles
