The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

What started out as hobby, paired with Gothenburg's need for affordable lodging, has blossomed into a way for us to raise a little extra money for our daughters college fund. Conveniently located in the town of Cambridge, NE, with ample parking for multiple vehicles, boats, RVs and dog trailers, it is located near the Cross Creeks Golf course, community park with swimming pool, jogging trails, frisbee golf, water sprays and a few miles from Harry Strunk Lake. We service the working community for the railroad, hospital, ethanol plant and more.
