'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Cozy Mountain Casita

Cute, clean & cozy guest house located off the beaten path 20 minutes from Ruidoso & Capitan. Close to Bonito & Alto Lake and Ski Apache. Great area for hiking, biking, hunting, fishing or a peaceful couples retreat. The home can accommodate 2 adults comfortably. There is no cable television however we do provide firestick (Netflix, Prime, etc…) and WiFi. During times of heavy snow book at your own risk. Four wheel drive or chains will be necessary. We are two miles off state highway 37. NO PETS

Lots of hiking areas nearby. Studio style, level entry, open floor plan w/ a SMALL loft, perfect for kids to play. Sleeps up to 6. One bathroom w/ double sink. Kitchenette has fridge & microwave, no stove. Beautiful views w/private access to Bonito River right off deck.This area doesn’t flood. Covered area for parking.

The Little Pine Cabin is tucked away just on the outskirts of the Upper Canyon, but a little closer to Mid-Town. Also walking distance to all the shopping, restaurants & hot spots. It’s a short drive to Ski Apache & Inn of the Mountain Gods casino. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, neighborhood, & it’s quiet and peaceful . This cabin is great for couples, solo adventurers, & business travelers. This is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, cabin, approximately 600 sq ft with hot tub.

Attractive condo with easy access, no stairs... perfect for seniors! Located on well maintained grounds approximately 1 mile away from casino resort. Easy level parking. One bedroom with queen, also a sofa bed in the living area that connects w/kitchenette. Save money by cooking in. Balcony looks out on trees with a creek and ducks below. Electronic lock access for easy check in/out. No WiFi. Condo does have heating, cooling, fireplace, cable, towels, and plates/pans/utensils for cooking.

This cabin includes a hot tub on the lower deck to truly relax & enjoy the mountain air. This cabin is minutes from town!

“Sprucewood” is one of the few original 1940s split-log cabins in the popular and wooded Upper Canyon. Filled with new, modern-rustic design, it’s an historical gem at the top of the hill, with deck overlooking distant mountain peaks, pines, and cabins. Friendly deer walk through the yard. The river is a scenic stroll away. An easy hike through the woods of Perk Canyon is a 2-minute drive; shops & dining are a 5-minute drive. BY THE GRACE OF GOD (and maybe a bit of my sheer grit) this little lady is standing post 2024 fires/floods……..She is still and will continue to be a pristine cozy cottage on the Rio Ruidoso that offers an historic Upper Canyon stay. To be clear the neighborhood does show remnants of its former self but in no time will be stunning again……Further I want to thank all my former guests for their outpouring of love and support through this most surreal time……..awesomely good people in this world!

Ruidoso is about a 35 minute drive from Casa de Luna.
