Just off Wales' Coastal Path, this 17th-century converted barn offers the perfect rural hideaway to enjoy both the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. With great access to Gileston Manor (1-minute walk away) and Cardiff Airport (a 5-minute taxi ride away), Cowbridge and Llantwit Major (15 minutes' drive). The Mechanic's Rest is our latest addition to the Ellenborough Hall Holiday Flats. The old workshop for the Hall has recently been lovingly restored into holiday accommodation. On the ground floor is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen , a leather sofa, single chair, a TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs on the Mezzanine is a luxury king size bed. Mechanic's Rest is fully self contained with secure off road parking.

Penarth is a seaside town full of charm and character, with an Art Deco Pier, parks and independent shops and restaurants. It is only 15 minutes away from Cardiff by train and is close to the coast and Cardiff Bay. The flat is ideal for families, or small groups of guests who enjoy the outdoors but also want the convenience of being close to a capital city.
