Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

Fly fish, build a fire, hike the Roan Mountain Balds, visit Elk River Falls, and enjoy running and biking on Old Railroad Grade Rd which used to be the Old Tweetsie Railroad and follows the Doe for miles! Soak in the Hottub after a long hike! The river path is across the yard. It’s about 100 yards from the house. Perfect for tubing and swimming
