The present exhibition of Alexandre Barão photographies – exclusively taken for Marquês de Tancos Residence – create a captivating atmosphere. At our residence in Lisbon Historic Centre, we will do everything to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay possible. You have the subway in a 5 minutes walking distance and in 10 minutes the two train stations, Cais do Sodré, that take you to Belém and Cascais, and Restauradores, to go to Sintra. Also, you are 5 minutes from Martim Moniz, inicial stop of the famous 28 Lisbon Tram that follows a two-directional linear route: Martim Moniz – Graca – Portas de Sol – Se Cathedral – Rua Conceição (southern Baixa) – Chiado – Sao Bento – Estrela - Campo Ourique. The unit is a cozy one-bedroom apartment in the Saint George Castle walls (Castelo São Jorge), the oldest historical neighbourhood in Lisbon. You are 10min walking distance from Praça do Comércio and Alfama. Please note this is a very old building and there is limited soundproofing between units.

Sit out on the terrace on the rooftop and marvel at the views of the Tagus River. The apartment is in a traditional Lisbon building from the start of the 20th century that was fully renovated in 2018 with inspirational phrases and bold artwork. The apartment is in a quiet street in the Castle area. The most interesting points in Lisbon are within walking distance, including St Jorge Castle and downtown Lisbon. It’s close to the most famous viewpoint in the city, Miradouro Portas do Sol.

Our cozy apartment has 1 bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and all amenities; we recently added air conditioning. It has a balcony with incredible views over the Tagus River. It's located next to the ticket offices of São Jorge Castle; taxis access the castle area, but Ubers do not. This is the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon; the building was also recently restored. The people in the castle are mainly locals and tourists. The atmosphere is lively during the day and quiet at night.
