Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Farm

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Acacia Cottage

Located on a hectare of farmland in Prince Albert, with privacy, peace and security, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museum. Children are welcome, making it an ideal getaway for a family, or for 2 couples travelling together. Aircon, swimming pool and braai facilities, fireplace for winter. Electricity is solar-powered and grid. Two double en-suites make it comfortable, an additional suite available [Acacia Annexe, book separately]. North facing verandah for afternoon sunsets.

Koppie Cottage is our special "off-the-grid" Getaway. Access to the cottage is preferable with a 4x4 or Bakkie and goes through our Olive groves and across the River. The cottage is a tranquil haven , surrounded by Karoo veld and overlooked by the majestic Swartberg mountains. Windmill, limited solar power and gas supply the necessary utilities and peace and quiet are the order of the day. Drag yourself off the stoep, and walk up onto the Koppie behind, into the ancient Karoo veld.

Secure, self-catering, off the grid, environmentally friendly, restored laborer's cottage. Pet friendly. Located on the R62, 8km outside Calitzdorp on the Gamka Private Farm Estate. It is a place of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of urban life where you are able to wind down in a space enjoying the benefits of a rural environment. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape with stunning views and beautiful Karoo landscapes. The cottage is situated in a peaceful oasis on a working farm with scenic walks or bike rides through luscious lucern lands; you may even see a kudu! We offer comfortable, luxurious, clean accommodation, warm, friendly and welcoming service. Although the cottage is self catering, the Whistling Bridge Cafe is open from 7am to 4pm and offers delicious breakfast and lunch menu options.
