I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. This is a 90-year-old traditional Kyoumachiya certified by Kyoto City. World heritage Ginkakuji Temple and the path of philosophy are within a 5-minute walk. It is also a convenient location for Nanzenji and Heian Shrine. Kyoumachiya, where ordinary people enjoy the seasons and enjoy daily life, is a relaxing and nostalgic space. It is 92 square meters including the 2nd floor, and the wet area is easy to use and has been renovated, so you can spend it comfortably.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs.
