Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the quirky Scottish double-decker bus many magical guests would expect to see zipping through tight spaces and stopping to rescue wizards and witches in a pinch.   We also have a petting zoo and certified trout creek on the property. Our peaceful getaway is 1.5 miles from Margarita Jack’s marina on Lake Chatuge, 3 miles from Jack Rabbit Mountain biking and trails and 8 miles from both Hiawassee, GA. and Hayesville, NC. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains and adventure of the lake.

Your privacy is our #1 goal , we are here to make your stay a memorable experience but also can ‘disappear like Bigfoot does’ for you if needed.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape! All campsites are right on the Valley River. We allow RV and van camping in the RV sites. Bundles of firewood are available for $10 upon request. We prefer to keep things as natural as possible for your enjoyment! We are a small campground proudly hosting 3 cabins, 4 tent sites, and 3 RV sites. Please contact us with any questions you may have! Two bathhouses and a laundry room are also available for your use.

Henson Cove has been in the family a hundred years, there is over 150 acres here to explore. We have a large stocked pond to fish (keep all you can eat) Bass, Bream, Channel Cat, Crappie, etc. We have trails to the top of the mountain ridges and lots of real mountain wildlife! Turkey, Coyote, Deer, Bobcats, an occasional Black Bear.
