The nearest town, Haverhill, is 3 miles away while Cambridge and Stanstead airport are only a 30 minute drive away. 5 private bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, both with bath and separate shower. Really easy to find and up a small track with huge amounts of greenery, trees and wonderful views. Very quiet location, perfect to rest up in. Amazing host who can't do enough for you, fantastic cooked breakfast and classic farmhouse style decor. Only 20 minutes from Ipswich. If you have any questions just ask!

Distance from Chelmsford city is a 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive & buses run regularly from the end of the road. London Liverpool Street is a 25 minute train journey.

Our comfortable king-size bedroom with own bathroom, in a separate area upstairs in our house, overlooks a lovely walled garden in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in England. We also have an adjacent smaller twin bedroom which is available for the same group or perfect for families with children (aged 5 upwards). Both bedrooms share the same private bathroom. We are perfectly placed to enjoy beautiful Flatford Mill and Constable country. The coast is nearby too.

A house nestled in a wooded valley, running down to the River Orwell. It's a perfect spot for walking, bird watching, cycling, and wild swimming. Set in an acre of garden, it’s a tranquil retreat, perfect for those who enjoy the rustle of trees and birdsong. A pretty, thatched river view pub, serving meals, is within walking distance through the woods. We let four rooms.

Danbury Cottage

Two bedrooms available, one double with King size bed and one single room with own shared bathroom. I serve you continental breakfast included free of charge between 7.30 and 9.00am on request. It is possible to put a temporary bed in the single room. It would be a bit limiting but we will do this on request. The kitchen is not available to guests. The dining room can be used with a microwave for hot food. There is a small fridge and tea making facilities in large bedroom.

I’d like to welcome you to my famous ‘Harry Potter’ home. Come & relax in one of my four poster en-suite bedrooms. Fluffy dressing gowns & toiletries provided. Pretty courtyard garden with easy access to the lovely village. There’s a special guest sitting room where you can toast marshmallows & crumpets over the fire. Chill out on the squashy sofa & just relax. There’s plenty to see & do & award winning restaurants within walking distance. Yummy breakfasts too.
