A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Fast wifi at 50 Mbps. Cozy inside in the wintertime, also with a park-like setting with walking access down the lush backyard to the river where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. You can use the shared recreation room with ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, and weights.

150 ft. walk down a steep driveway takes you to a unique private little studio with everything an adventurous spirit needs. We have friendly dogs you may see outside, and we do not allow pets. No smoking in the unit. There is a smoking hut on the property you are free to use should you choose to (bring a container with you to dispose the remnants). SE Portland is a 30 min drive and downtown Portland a 45 min drive. One hour to Mt. Hood, & falls in the Gorge. Pool open 6/15 through 9/5.

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. With unique vintage decor, this comfortable studio offers modern amenities in a peaceful country setting. The space has a private keypad entrance & 16 stairs (sorry, no elevator) to the guest studio attached to our home. Our friendly golden retriever Ollie will gladly greet you. Groceries & highway access are a mere 3 miles away. Portland is a short easy drive from our quiet country home.

Enjoy our beautiful cozy cabin that is heated exclusively by a wood stove, on the edge of a magical old growth cedar forest on our 11 acre farm and vineyard. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.
