Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

Riverfront - Whittled Duck River Camp

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Kingfisher's Perch

4-season cottage with amazing views of the Allegheny River with great wildlife and bird watching (bald eagles). There's a hot tub to relax in after biking (Rails to Trails bike trail), kayaking (2 available), hiking, fishing, playing (playground in the yard), shooting (.22 range in the back yard), or swimming (in the river or local waterfall) all day. Great for families or friend getaways. A home away from home, everything you need, and more for an escape to the woods.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place located on the Allegheny River. Stay for hunting and fishing trips with friends. Bring your boat and launch it right in front of the cabin. Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests? No problem if you like to put up a tent or two. ( ask the host for details ).

Creekside cottage

Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset. Welcome to the Downstream Dome! Our newly constructed geodesic dome allows you to wake up to a one of a kind view of the gorgeous Allegheny River, all while feeling nestled in with nature. The Dome includes one Queen bed, one bathroom, dining area, full kitchen, outdoor patio area with a hot tub, grill, and fire pit. For the health and safety of everyone we do have a very strict no animals policy. Thank you.

The cabin sits on 3.6 acres alongside route 219. It's a stream front property of the Rocky Run stream with the fork of the West Branch of the Clarion River just below. Both Rocky Run and the West Branch provide excellent trout fishing throughout the seasons. Rocky Run Hideaway is within minutes from an abundance of excellent hunting, fishing, wineries, restaurants, and recreational activities.
