The MidKnight Bus~Trout Creek, Petting Zoo

Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the quirky Scottish double-decker bus many magical guests would expect to see zipping through tight spaces and stopping to rescue wizards and witches in a pinch.   We also have a petting zoo and certified trout creek on the property. Mountain House Rental at the Lake

This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Owl's Nest Retreat with Fishing

Nestled in the mountains of Hayesville NC you will find Owl’s Nest. A perfect retreat for 2 people, this one bedroom one bath apartment is located in the upper story of a large barn (no worries, as there are no animals below) . (Dry storage for motorcycles.) For those who love to fish there is a 2 acre stocked fishing pond with bass, catfish, sunfish & more (catch and release only), as well as approx 250’ of creek frontage on Tusquittee Creek for trout fishing.
