Rural, rustic, stylish and definitely romantic, this bijou 400 yr old converted granary oozes charm and comfort: Driftwood bed, fully equipped little kitchen, woodburner, rolltop bath with shower attachment (no standing shower cubicle), sofa, dining area, TV, selection of interesting games, includes all linen, towels, welcome goodies. Puffins Nest is situated within the walled garden of the main farmhouse and only 50 yards from the stunning south west coast path. Pubs, restaurants and a variety of shops and galleries within 3 miles. Cliff walk (45mins) to local pub. Little Hoops, converted barn close to coast

Little Hoops is just perfect for a break away whatever time of the year. Cool in the summer and cosy warm with underfloor heating in the cooler months. It has amazing old beams and thick character walls. Inside you’ll find everything you need for your stay. Although it is across from the drive of our house you will have total privacy with the bonus of us being on hand if needed. Pub nearby, shops 5 mins drive and the coast 10mins away. Our grandchildren say it’s a bit of heaven in Devon!

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exposed beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.
