Hillmoor Stone Cottage

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.

Once getting to the farm you will experience the calmness and silence of the wonderful Great Karoo, where time seems to stand still. The farm has more than enough space to enjoy mountain biking, long hikes or easy walks along sheep paths. The comfortable farmhouse is surrounded by a lush garden.

Puzzles Accommodation -UNIT 1

Hosting the largest dam in the country, the town makes for an interesting halfway stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town / Port Elizabeth. Puzzles is situated on the edge of the “koppie” and is focused primarily on the overnight traveller. Each unit contains two 3-quarter beds, and a good quality double sleeper couch. Guests have their own entrance. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Locked parking is provided behind palisade gates.

Bird’s Haven Guesthouse - Charming Country Cottage

The Charming Country Cottage at Bird's Haven Guesthouse is ideal for a family of up to 6 guests. WiFi avalable in room. Netflix decoder available in room, just login with your details and you are good to go. It is a stand alone unit with 2 rooms and 1 bathroom in the garden of the main house. Breakfast on the go and Dinner are served on request at an additional cost per person. House trained, friendly pets are welcome to stay over with their human family.

Selah guest cottage is situated in a tranquil enviroment within walking distance from the town, museum and Bethulie dam.Selah is a place where you can stop, take in a deep breath of fresh air and relax....wake up to birds singing and chickens clucking. Selah is definely a place to put your feet up and relax. One can visit the founder of the town (Pellisiers) house and the boer womens concentration camp.Or just go for a walk to Bethulie Dam

Alphen River Lodge

Come enjoy a getaway at Alphen River Lodge.Situated on the banks of the Orange River it offers a great escape for family and friends . The river and the farm on which it is situated allow for fun outdoor activities . These include : Yellow fish fly fishing(1.8km of private river frontage) Mountian biking Walks Trail running Birding It is also in a tranquil part of the counrty and this making it a great place to relax and wind down.

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

Your furry friend is as welcome here at the Philippolis Groenhuise as you are. * WALK on our farmland across from the Greenhouse reception, featuring Anglo-Boer War embankments, blue cranes, and a stunning view of the town. * SWIM in a pool that was once an irrigation fountain dam. * DRINK pure water sourced from boreholes up to 110 meters deep.

Raapfontein is a working sheep farm, 15 km from Hanover offering self catering accommodation and camping facilities The self-catering cottage has one bedroom. The full bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen and small dining area is perfect for preparing your own meals. Outside is a undercover braai area and undercover parking. Guests can help feed animals and enjoy the beautiful Karoo night sky.
