Enjoy the pleasures of the Hill Country at this 2-acre retreat near Canyon Lake. The suite accommodates up to 4 guests with a king-size bed in the bedroom, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, and a full kitchen. Enjoy entertaining on a large main deck or view the lake from the 2nd floor side deck. Relax on a 3rd private deck with a hot tub & outdoor shower.

Pool & hot tub are available for additional fee of $50 per pool use in the morning 9:00 - 4:00, or in the evening 4:00 -10:00. Pool is not heated during colder months, only hot tub is.

It can sleep 4 people, although the space would be a little tight for 4 adults. It is sound insulated so normal TV volume can not be heard from the main house, well furnished, and has its own AC/heating. It is close to the Domain, and north Austin high tech employers. A perfect work from home setup! Please Note: The bathroom is separated by curtains in lieu of the pocket door that is currently out of service.

Austin Guest Flat - 1000sq ft Home Away From Home

Our guest space was built for my mom but we ended up living in it for 2 years and it was great. It is approx 1000 sq ft, tall vaulted ceiling in the living space and lots of light. It's pretty quiet up there. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood near the center of Austin's population ( Hwy 183 & Hwy 620). This makes our location super easy for access to major roadways.

Canoe Barn on Barons Creek

This private room with bath and kitchen is attached to my house by a front wall, roof, and back deck, although there is no common wall. The deck looks over peaceful Barons Creek where deer and turkeys are often seen. It is 1 mile from the heart of downtown. This has never been an actual barn but is constructed like one.
