The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Recently converted into a one bedroom tiny quirky cottage which is perfect for a cosy romantic break, or a breath of fresh air in the beautiful forest with all it offers. Originally built as a coaching inn c. 1580 with the living room wing added c. 1740. The building was restored in 2018, and mixes rustic charm with contemporary design. We're only 30 minutes from Alton Towers and 15 minutes from Cannock Chase and the Shugborough Estate.
