A short drive to Chama will take you back in time as you jump on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and enjoy the history of steam locomotives, or go kayaking at Heron Lake State Park only 20 minutes away.

Sweetwater Ranch Cabin | Mountain Views by Dunes

Stay in a private cabin on a working ranch, surrounded by wide-open skies, mountain views, and the quiet rhythms of rural Colorado. Wildlife, including birds, horses, and cattle, is part of the landscape, offering an authentic ranch experience just outside town. Evenings are for stargazing and s'mores around the outdoor horno (traditional fire pit), while mornings begin with coffee on the deck. You're just 10 minutes from downtown Alamosa and 30 minutes from the Sand Dunes—peaceful and private.

Brookie on the Conejos

Our cabins are located directly on the Conejos River with everything you could need for your stay. In addition we have a beautiful pond stocked with trout. Catch and release barbless hook fly fishing is available by reservation on our river or pond separate from booking the cabin for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE FISHING IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. Also please note, we do allow dogs, however we charge a $50 pet fee. Please message us for availability. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway with us!

Situated along HWY 160 this centrally located A- Frame studio cabin is ideal for anglers, skiers, and alpine enthusiasts looking for easy access to all the Southern San Juans have to offer. Wolf Creek Ski area is 17 miles away and the South Fork of the Rio Grande runs just across the highway. Close access to Snowmobiling, X Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities.

Adventure Haus - A-Frame Cabin with Mountain Views

Welcome to the Adventure Haus- a two bedroom, two bath cabin located just outside of South Fork close to ATV trails, the Rio Grande River, and Wolf Creek Ski Area. This cabin has been designed to be your basecamp for adventure. Between the 4 decks attached to the cabin, log porch swing, and fire pit area with Adirondack Chairs, you will have no trouble finding a proper place to relax. You will also have access to the detached garage to safely store your gear out of the elements.

Snowshoe Cabin

Rocky Mountains surround you in this beautiful 2-bedroom 1-bath cabin. Its off grid, but with modern amenities including star link internet. The property borders the Cumbres and Toltec Railway with a front porch view of the train during train season! Its a short walk to fishing and hiking in the Rio Grande National Forest. This four-season cabin can be especially enjoyable as a cozy retreat once snow flies and can be accessed by snowmobile, XC skis or snowshoes!

Guest House at Rio Campo

PRIVATE downtown chalet, on the river, at Cotton Hole Park with spectacular mountain views. This studio/loft is nestled in the trees above a panoramic bend of the San Juan river known as Cotton Hole Park. The location grants direct river access for swimming and fishing in the summer and cozy views of the alpenglow in the winter. This private entrance unit is located above the attached garage of a newly constructed main house one block off of Main St.

Headwater Hideout

Beautiful working ranch in south central Colorado with gorgeous mountain and ranch views. This is an old farmhouse that has been renovated several times over the years so there are some quirks. The middle bedroom has no access to a bathroom unless they are walking through one of the other bedrooms. You can choose the wood burning fireplace or furnace to heat your space. Excellent fiber optic WiFi.

Private Cabin on the Conejos River

We offer a great cabin, a stones thrown from the river on our elk ranch. Our all-season cabin can accommodate couples, or groups up to 6, and serve as a home base or launching spot for the areas countless activities. We also offer fly fishing access, if available with a rod fee, this is seperate from cabin, and must be booked in advance. We charge a $100 per pet fee.
