Scartlea Cottage is situated in a quiet and peaceful location in the heart of Muckross. It is just a short distance (5km) from the town centre, National Park and Muckross House & Torc Waterfall . The location is perfect for walking, cycling and trekking. Facilities immediately nearby include shops, hotels & bike hire. The cottage is located on the same site as the owners house and has its own separate entrance and space dedicated to it making it a very private location to stay.

Helen’s Cottage - Set in Muckross in Killarney

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a dairy farm in Muckross in Killarney. Relax in this tiny one bedroom cottage in the Irish countryside. A perfect base for hiking or cycling in the area. The cottage was built in the 1970’s so it is not a new property and the interior reflects the age. This property is rustic and old fashioned and the bathroom is very small so please be mindful of this before you book. The house is not suitable for kids as there is only 1 bed.

Surrounded by various wildlife & farm animals. The Gleneagle INEC is a quick 3km trip away along with many hotels on the muckross road. Other nearby sight seeing locations include torc waterfall, muckross abbey, ladies view & Ross castle. Horse & cart tours can be arranged with notice.
