Beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Clover Hill Cottage is a beautifully renovated property on the grounds of Bayly Farm, an old Georgian Farm House nestled in the idyllic ambience of the Tipperary countryside. Tastefully decorated, the cottage boasts a number of amenities that seamlessly blend with its traditional feel, along with beautiful woodland walks/fishing spots on site. On the outskirts of Nenagh town it provides a gateway to multiple historic/cultural attractions in addition to it's close proximity to Lough Derg.

Tom Rocky’s Farmyard

This old farmyard has undergone a beautiful restoration. The open space & scenery all around here is stunning, with the Devils Bit mountain as a backdrop. It is a really peaceful spot. There is a large, enclosed yard space and an open shed area with lights & seats, and a roofed kids play area. The old market town of Templemore is a 4 min drive, boasting a beautiful town park with woodland walks & a lake. We are just 12 mins drive from Exits 22 or 23 on the M7 Dublin-Limerick motorway.

Primrose Lodge and Gardens

Enjoy this newly appointed, bright, and spacious 2-bedroom lodge, just a 5-minute drive to Tipperary Town and a stone's throw from the Glen of Aherlow. Set on picturesque farmland in the countryside, it's just 25 minutes to Cashel and Cahir. Ideal for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts exploring Munster. Close to Kilshane House, a popular wedding venue, and nearby golf clubs. Centrally located with easy access to numerous attractions and activities across the region.

Cat's Barn, old style restored cut-stone barn

Restored 2 storey grain barn, with all the original beams and exposed stonework. 10 minutes from Callan. Kilkenny city is 25 minutes away and Cashel is 35 minutes. Clonmel 25 minutes. Down a short cul-de-sac laneway with lots of trees and pleasant countryside. We have cows , sheep and playful lambs in the Spring. ! The bedroom area upstairs is divided into two bedrooms. Plenty of birdsong! Cat's Barn is the name, but don't worry...you won't be sleeping with cats !

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

The Calf House

Stay on a real working Irish farm in the hills of North Tipperary in a converted 100-year-old calf house. Walk through the farm track to the top of the farm hill where you can see across six counties on a clear day. Nire Valley Glamping offers a unique experience to stay in a vintage horse lorry with stunning views in a peaceful location in the heart of the scenic nire valley. The lorry has a king-size bed ,fridge ,cooking hob and wood burning stove. Outside is charcoal bbq, table and chairs. There is a separate hot outdoor shower hut which is shared by other guests and separate toilet hut nearby .A perfect romantic retreat !
