The Studio in the Sky

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

We are located in a peaceful rural countryside setting 3 mins (by car) from Newport town, 12 mins from University of Limerick/Castletroy, 15 mins from Limerick City centre and 40 mins from Shannon Airport. Guests have their own private attached one bedroom cottage at the side of the host home with a spacious bedroom, ensuite bathroom with electric shower, living area, kitchenette, oil heating, open fire, private patio & private parking. Surrounded by nature. 500m from the renowned Coolmore Stud. Within 5 minute drive from the scenic town of Fethard. Short drive to the Rock of Cashel, Kilkenny Castle, Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage, Blueway & Slievenamon just to name a few.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

This listing is for the self-contained guest wing of our house, ensuring you complete privacy with sole use of the space and its amenities.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Nire Valley Glamping offers a unique experience to stay in a vintage horse lorry with stunning views in a peaceful location in the heart of the scenic nire valley. The lorry has a king-size bed ,fridge ,cooking hob and wood burning stove. Outside is charcoal bbq, table and chairs. There is a separate hot outdoor shower hut which is shared by other guests and separate toilet hut nearby .A perfect romantic retreat !
