This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double and one queen sized bedroom, sofa bed and a delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. Fairfield Loft is in the heart of the lovely village of Ashover with the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and Peak District National Park right on the doorstep. Tucked away behind Stamp, our coffee shop and village post office, the space was renovated in 2021 with comfort and quality in mind. There's lots to see and do in the area but if you simply want to relax then spend the days exploring the many beautiful local walks and maybe wind down with a drink or two in one of the friendly local pubs.
