This cute ranch house is close to many wineries to go wine tasting. In addition the little town of Creston is located just 2 miles down the road- complete with a steak house, little market and post office. Perfect location for day trips exploring the Central Coast. This is a very relaxing get away surrounded by nature. Creston is centrally located- 20 minutes from Paso Robles, Atascadero or Templeton. If you are looking for a get away to relax and unwind, this is the perfect spot for you.

Wildlife and Wine

Quiet location, situated on a hilltop with ranch and vineyard views. Close to several tasting rooms. Wonderful location if you enjoy wildlife. There are cottontails in the yard, deer come to drink at the water trough and 107 bird species have been seen on the property. The yard is fenced so your pets will be safe. We provide pods for the Keurig coffee maker as well as creamer, sugar, artificial sweetener and tea. There is a microwave, toaster, Mr. Coffee and a gas barbecue for your use also.

After a little time off Airbnb, The Cottage is back and better than ever Spring 2025! The perfect stop for your Central Coast adventure! Tastefully appointed and well stocked, the cottage is perfect for a getaway to Paso Robles wine country, the beach, San Luis Obispo, hiking trips or the famous HWY 1! The cottage is set in a beautiful spot at the lower end of our property under a mature and majestic grove of oak trees adjacent to a beautiful white barn with overhead twinkling bistro lights.

Maverick Hill Ranch Farm Stay

Come and spend the night in our little red barn. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Our little barn has a small kitchenette, a large king size bed and a rustic bathroom. We have also included a cool corduroy bean bag that converts into a full size mattress. The room includes a large TV with Netflix and prime, Kurig coffee maker, a variety of teas, outdoor patio with a fire pit. On the property we have horses, cats, chickens and many dogs.

The J Birdsall Banker property was developed from 1917 to 1919. The carriage house was constructed in 1919 and converted into housing during the housing shortage of World War 11 We have always referred to it as the honey moon suite because so many couples have lived there over the last 65 years.
