That’s why we call it, ”The Hideout”. You could literally hike out the back door all the way to the summit of Pikes Peak and not cross a road nor see another house. Truly your Rocky Mountain getaway. Welcome to our super cute, off-grid A-frame! We hope your stay at The Black Bear is filled with as much laughter and relaxation as we have when we stay here. We have created a joyfully unique retreat for you to enjoy. And who doesn't LOVE an A-frame, right? Our cute getaway is powered completely by the sun and it has all of the modern amenities you'd expect including Starlink wifi! There is also a whole-home generator for back-up power if needed.
