This is a quaint sleeping studio bunkhouse located at Rustic Superior private campground, one mile off of Hwy 61 in Hovland, Minnesota. Includes futon, chairs, fire pit & panoramic view of the property and Lake Superior. Perfect for the individual or couple looking to get away from everything. This simple 12 x 12 foot north woods structure is well-maintained & clean. Penny's Peak is a visually secluded rustic campsite. Guests have full access to our groomed hiking trails and stunning wilderness.

The Lena Dome (5 min to Grand Marais)

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Directly on the Pincushion Trail System (which links to the Superior Hiking Trail) you'll find endless hiking options right outside your door. The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. Lena has electricity, but no heat or cooking supplies, so plan for an elevated camping experience. READ BELOW

The Superior View House is your quiet escape to the North Shore. Located just 1 mile from access to Lake Superior, 1/2 mile from the Superior Hiking Trail and 10 minutes from Grand Marais this entire home is an excellent place to set up for a long weekend exploring the Northwoods. The cozy fireplace and large airy living room make for comfortable ways to spend the evenings or days when the whether isn't cooperating, otherwise the three outdoor decks and wood fired sauna are the places to be.

Wolf Track Den Cabin - A cozy cabin, located at the foot of the Gunflint Trail and very close to the city of Grand Marais. Enjoy privacy on 3 acres in Grand Marias, Minnesota. Dog-friendly! This clean, modern, Scandinavian-feeling cabin, sleeps up to 5; 1 Queen, 1 pull out couch, 1 twin bed. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer for your clothes after a day of hiking or skiing. Come and enjoy what was originally built for an artist’s studio and converted to a pet-friendly cozy living space. The studio is a spacious 800-sq ft open-concept layout with charming skylights in the kitchen and bathroom, and windows to overlook Lake Superior. We’re located on Croftville Road, which locals call the "Walkers Road" - quiet to traffic and perfect for a casual stroll.
